Newsletter – October 2019
This has been a very busy half term at New York. We do not have many 8 week half terms in a school year, but we needed this one as there has been so much to fit in. Teachers have organised educational visits, sporting events and visitors into school. We have enjoyed trialling new IT equipment, new OPAL equipment and new sports equipment as well as lots of new reading books. There have also been lots of opportunities to welcome families into school including the wonderful ‘reading with your child’ sessions. There will be more of these over the year to look forward to. The science, engineering and maths for families will continue throughout the year and thanks to all who have supported this with Mr Lisle.
