As we approach the end of this Autumn term we can reflect upon the many positives of life at New York. We are proud of all our sporting successes in recent weeks including Littleton League Football results and our wonderful achievements at the North Tyneside athletics event.
We are delighted to have been re-accredited with the prestigious Inclusion Quality Mark (IQM). One quote in the assessors report states; New York Primary School offers incredibly high inclusive provision where learners are well supported, engaged and happy and outcomes, in turn, are high. #PROUD. Another proud moment that many of you shared this month was the performance of our school choir at the Whitley Bay Playhouse. We were invited to open the show and open it we did with a fantastic performance. Our ‘Keep Singing’ by Rick Astley was so impressive that we are one of only two primary schools in North Tyneside to be nominated to represent our local area in the North East Choir of the Year 2020. We are hugely proud and cannot wait! I look forward to seeing you at our various Festive events over the next few weeks. Please check the calendar for dates and times.
