Newsletter – December 2019

As we draw to the end of a brilliant Autumn term, it is hard to believe just how much we have packed in. From sporting success, Inclusion and OPAL awards, Music performances to whole school productions, New York pupils have done us proud.

During this term there has been so much quality teaching and learning and I know many of you comment positively upon how much your children talk about lessons in school. Visitors in to school comment favourably upon the respectful behaviour of our pupils and that makes us very proud. We continue to welcome parents into school to understand more and more about their child’s education. We will continue with Book Looks, Reading events and STEM for families in the New Year. We continue to be very proud of all we achieve at New York and I would like to thank staff, parents and pupils for their effort and support in this.

On behalf of governors, and staff, we wish you a very ‘Merry Christmas’.
Mrs Shaw

See you back in school on Tuesday 7th January 2020.
