Young Carers

In Summer 2024 we started working with North Tyneside Carers Centre.

We have learned all about what it means to be a Young Carer through school assemblies, training and discussion sessions.

We continued our journey by meeting pupils who identify as Young Carers, in school on a fortnightly basis. During these sessions we have taken part in a variety of activities including warm up games to introduce ourselves, discussing who we care for and our positive attributes. All sessions include a cup of juice and some biscuits to enjoy!
